Step 6 - 9-patch
| 1. From Dark 1 cut 3 strips 2” x width of fabric. | |
| 2. From Dark 2 cut 2 strips 2” x width of fabric. | |
| 3. From Accent cut 4 strips 2” x width of fabric. | |

4. Sew 3 strips together in the following order:
(repeat to make 2 strip sets)
b. Accent – Dark 1 – Accent (make 1 strip set) |

| 5. Cut the sewn strips into 2” sections; cut 40 from strip set 4a and 20 from strip set 4b. (Note: Photo of one strip set is shown.) |  |
| 6. Sew the sections into 20 nine-patch blocks as shown. |  |
