Mystery Quilt 2006

Finished size: 78" x 94.5"

1. From Dark 2 and Accent fabrics, cut 4 each 2” x width of fabric strips.
2. Sew a Dark 2 and Accent strip together along the length. Press seam toward Dark 2. Repeat for a total of 4 sewn sets. The strip sets should measure 3.5” wide when sewn.
3. Cut the sewn strip sets into 80 sections, each 2” wide.
4. Sew two sections into 40 four-patch units. Press seam.
5. From Background cut 2 strips 3.5” x width of fabric. Cut the strips into 40 2” x 3.5” rectangles.
6. Sew a rectangle to the 40 four-patch units. Make sure the four-patches are oriented as shown. Press seam toward background rectangle. Units should measure 3.5" X 5" when sewn.
