This quilt was supposed to be a bed size quilt. Then after years and years of being a WIP, I realized that it would be better off as a wall quilt to show case the appliques. Bgan 8/17/2000 completed 2007.

Another UFO that started as a guild Color My Quilt round robin. Nine participants made a block in a particular color using provided background fabric. I added the tulips from a Piece O Cake monthly pattern series. Quilt completed August 2007

Another long time UFO that I finished August 2007. I adapted the McTavishing quilting to my own method of not backstitching.

Made for my cousin, Terra of Detroit, MI. She collects African figurines. I purchased the scrap African prints from the vendor at Paducah, KY and Nashville, TN who buys fabric from West Africa.

This one is for my cousin Zendre. She love purple so when I started making a pink quilt, I decided to add purple as a contrast. Began: 10-22-06 Completed: 1-15-07

This was a quilt top that I never quilted. I'm working on clearing up some UFOs. Began 11-17-01 Completed 1-13-07

Blooming Nine Patch - from the book, Tradition With a Twist. I love how this top turned out. I added another round to this quilt to make it a little larger. This one was a UFO for a while because I wanted to have hand applique'd flowers in the borders. I gave up on that notion and finished the quilt. 2/15/02 to 1/10/07

I love the bargello technique but haven't had the opportunity to make many. A quilting friend and I made a challenge to complete this quilt. 43.5 x 57 10/10/06 to1/9/07
